Your love gave my heart wings.
Here's another quick hanging heart decoration.
What you'll need:
red paper
white paper
pencil
glue
string
scissors/paper cutter
xacto knife
Cut a 1 inch strip of red paper
Fold it in half
roll the ends of the paper around a pencil to give them a curl
glue the curls together to form the top middle of the heart and stick the string in to glue that in place too
You have the heart now you need the wings
Fold the piece of white paper in half
draw a wing on it and include a small tab of paper that will be used to hold the wing to the heart
cut the wing out, cutting through the folded paper so you end up with two wings
Using your xacto knife cut a slit in the heart and insert the tab from the wing
fold the tab over and glue this to the inside of the heart to secure the wings
Want to personalize this? Write a love not on the wings or write a date that is significant to you like your first kiss or anniversary.
